Bodington is our 120-bed home offering exceptional care to all our residents. Situated in the picturesque bushland of Wentworth Falls, we offer a home-like environment where residents and staff are treated with compassion and respect. We are approximately 90 minutes’ drive west of Sydney and 45 minutes’ drive from Penrith with onsite parking available. Given our location, and distance from public transport services, having your own vehicle would be extremely advantageous. 

Our ACFI Co-Ordinator will be responsible for managing the Catholic Healthcare ACFI assessment process to ensure that funding is identified and maximised to indicate the level of care being provided to our Residents. You will identify any changing care needs, via the documentation, to ensure that all submissions are reviewed appropriately and submitted in line with expectations. 

Regional support, through our Residential Aged Care leadership team, is always available for reviews and/or consultation. You will also be coaching and sharing information with the care team to assist in documentation being correct so first class care is provided to our Residents. 

To be considered a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience working in an aged care environment as a Registered Nurse; 
  • Unconditional APHRA registration; 
  • Thorough clinical reasoning, analytical, assessment and care planning skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills 
  • Excellent demonstrated written communication skills; 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument and the Aged Care Quality Standards including the Accreditation process; 
  • Demonstrated advanced computer literacy; 
  • Experience with computerised care management software programs; 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Willingness to provide evidence of Flu and Covid 19 vaccination.
