Lewisham Aged Care is our peaceful Residential aged service with two facilities on one site with a total of 96 beds offering exceptional care and elegant accommodation to our residents. Ideally located in the Inner West, we offer a home like environment where residents are treated with compassion and respect.

We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team on a part time basis working 32 hours each week. In this role, you will work across all facets of the home, with no two days being the same. This is a crucial position as you will be the first point of contact for our residents and their families.

About the role:

  • HR & Payroll Support: Organising new starter paperwork, background checks, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new staff, rostering of care home staff and assisting our Residential Manager with payroll activities;
  • Reception: Taking incoming calls, collecting daily mail;
  • Finance and Purchasing: Liaising with our revenue management team and managing the purchase of supplies.
  • Responsible for petty cash management, rostering and accounts payable/ receivable

To be considered a successful candidate, you will:

  • Be an exceptionally organised individual with a caring nature, who is personable, compassionate and willing to interact and provide direction to our residents;
  • Have previous administration and rostering experience, ideally in Aged Care;
  • Highly computer literate (previous experience with eCase, Proact and/or Time Target is highly desirable).
