Bodington is our 120-bed home that offers exceptional care to all our residents. Situated in the picturesque bushland of Wentworth Falls, we offer a home-like environment where residents and staff are treated with compassion and respect. We are approximately a 45-minute drive west of Penrith with onsite parking available.

We are currently seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team in Wentworth Falls. This is a permanent full-time position with scheduled hours from Monday to Friday 0800 – 1600.

Together with our Residential Manager, you will provide effective operational and clinical management for residential care service and you will supervise a team of extraordinary Clinical staff to ensure best clinical practice and outcomes for our residents are met. You will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring ACFI is maximised for all residents to reflect the level of needs for residents;
  • Ensuring resident care is conducted in alignment with best practice and the core values of Catholic Healthcare;
  • Ensuring the home complies with Aged Care Accreditation Standards at all times;
  • Acknowledging, investigating and responding to resident and family feedback in a timely and professional manner, and;
  • Developing and leading Clinical staff to focus on a culture of continual improvement and quality.

 To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Recent experience as a Clinical Care Nurse (Aged Care) and/or as a Deputy Residential Manager;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI);
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining care plans.

  • An exceptional communicator who is collaborative and values relationships.
