The Position

We have an exciting opportunity in our Respite Cottage and Day Centre in Dubbo for an experienced community worker. This role is as diverse as it is rewarding, ensuring that each day you come to work, you will experience something new and will have had a positive impact on someone’s life. Weekend work required with generous penalty rates on offer.

In this role you will find yourself

• Participate in meaningful activities with clients with dementia
• Providing high level support to clients living with dementia
• Helping with meal preparation and general housekeeping
• Providing personal care for those that require it

To be successful for the role you will have

• Certificate III in Aged Care 
• Experience supporting people with Dementia  
• Previous experience working within an aged care environment 
• Able to effectively facilitate group activities 
• A strong work ethic along with a sense of fun 
• Time Management and thinking on your feet in a fast paced and ever changing environment 
• Proof of COVID Vaccinations
