Lourdes Hospital and Community Health Service (Lourdes) is a third schedule, not-for-profit teaching hospital funded by NSW Ministry of Health and managed by Catholic Healthcare. Lourdes has a long history of providing excellent care to the greater Dubbo region. We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full time basis on a maximum term contract until 31/12/19. 

About the Role:

Working as part of a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team within the rehabilitation unit at Lourdes Hospital, providing adult inpatient, outpatient and community services. This position provides a great opportunity to develop clinical skills within the area of rehabilitation and aged care.

To be successful in this role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or the equivalent.
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which includes a demonstrated ability to complete sensitive and responsive interactions with co-workers and patients/clients.
  • Demonstrated time management skills that include the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and judge priorities appropriately.
  • Current NSW Health Vaccination Status - Category A.
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Understanding of the need to assess and monitor systems and services to ensure high quality outcomes.
